LA-based artist E.Lundquist's debut singles and the first release from KingUnderground since the label's restructuring. As KU's Creative Director, I directed and produced all three videos and co-filmed them with the UK and US team I assembled for the project.

The long form came together quicker than intended. Shot in Glasgow in half a day, it follows India on her everyday commute to work, deep in thought, with the environment in frame. The other videos were US-based, so this gave us a different identity.

After a few weeks of planning, we decided to keep the video intimate and reflective, in line with the lyrics. To carry that feel through, we shot everything in one small space, creating a sense of isolation and self-reflection. High viewpoints looking out over the city emphasise this.

With just an afternoon to shoot, we built a clear on-the-move concept that matched the lyrics and the pace of the track. A tight crop of her is the key frame, with wide cinematic B-roll setting the environment: low sun, busy streets, and the overall vibe.
